The link below is to a short Star Tribune article on Fort Snelling being closed until July due to flooding and flood related damage.  It has already been closed for months.

What will it take for the MNDNR and the City of Bloomington to realize that putting more expensive, tax payer funded infrastructure in the Minnesota River Valley in Bloomington is  simply fiscally  irresponsible?

  1. Reminder that the trails in Fort Snelling State Park have been the example of sustainable paved trails in flood plains used by the DNR and City of Bloomington. We of course know all along that this was MISINFORMATION. The River wins every time. The DNR and City need to act and be more responsible for tax dollars!
