Dear Bloomington Residents….this post is for you.

Here is yet another opportunity for you to question those running for office in Bloomington.  The status quo has been in place for decades in Bloomington government.  This year could be the opportunity to mix that up but you can’t do that if you don’t get involved. 

We challenge Bloomington residents to attend and submit the following question for the candidates:

What is your position on paving the Minnesota Valley State Trail (River Bottoms Trail), which was flooded for nearly 6 months this year, in Bloomington?

Here are the details:

You’re invited to a public forum with candidates for mayor and city council in Bloomington. 

You’ll get a chance to learn more about the local candidates and where they stand on conservation and environmental issues. The forum will be moderated by 2010 Independence Party candidate for governor Tom Horner.
